Security Advisers for Destination NSW for vivid sydney

IR is delighted to have recently worked with Destination NSW for Vivid Sydney, the southern hemisphere’s largest multi-artform festival. In 2024 Vivid Sydney attracted 2.42 million attendees, and the 2025 edition of the event will take place from 23 May to 14 June.

This builds on our work in 2021 when IR developed a Major Event Security Risk Management Framework (MESRMF) and a Major Event Counter-Terrorism Plan (MECTP) and supporting documentation for several pre-eminent public precincts in Sydney for Place Management NSW – including precincts that hosted and will continue to host Vivid Sydney .

Destination NSW is the state government executive agency responsible for supporting the growth of tourism and events in New South Wales.
