I was deployed to the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games in my then capacity as Major Events Lead for the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), within U.S. Diplomatic Security. (I have since left the U.S. State Department to take on a senior role with FIFA World Cup 2026 – Canada, Mexico, and the United States). In this role, my team and I were responsible for coordinating daily briefings for government entities, national teams, and corporate partners registered with OSAC.

In representing their clients in Paris, Intelligent Risks (IR) were enthusiastic, engaged, and highly effective participants in the OSAC program. In addition to consistently attending and benefiting from our briefings, they were notably proactive in submitting timely and relevant security information regarding developments that could affect operations on the ground.

Their willingness to share actionable intelligence contributed meaningfully to the situational awareness and safety of other international corporate stakeholders. IR demonstrated what we consider a model approach to public-private information sharing—collaborative, responsible, and always focused on advancing the security posture of the wider event community. Their professionalism and partnership were of genuine value to our collective efforts in Paris.
