The Queensland Department of Health engaged IR to assess the security readiness of three critical hospital facilities directly supporting the G20 political summit in Brisbane. This project drew upon our in-depth knowledge of hospital security design and operating principles gained from our ongoing engagement as the security advisor for the Sunshine Coast University Hospital project, and our work for other major hospital projects. Our Strategic Risk Assessment provided the client with an insightful and detailed understanding of risks specific to the sector. We provided prioritised and time-critical recommendations specific to the G20 summit period to enhance security preparedness, as well as strategic guidance for the long-term sustainment of effective, cost-effective and proportionate security.
