CPMC HOSPITAL AND HEALTHCARE PRECINCT, THAILAND

Charoen Pokphand Medical Centre Company Limited (CPMC Co Ltd), appointed Intelligent Risks (IR) as the lead security consultant for its US$500 million Health Centre project in the Bang Na district of Bangkok. The CP Group is Thailand’s largest private company. The 20-acre precinct will ultimately comprise a R & D institute, a private hospital and a medical teaching institute. IR is leading on the design and scoping of security systems for the hospital and providing security advice to the other design disciplines.

IR has been engaged for the life of the project, including the full design phase from concept design through to construction, with an option to extend the contract to include the initial operations phase. IR is providing risk-based, innovative design solutions using new developments in security technology and systems integration to assure the safety and security of hospital staff, patients and assets. IR is combining our extensive health care sector and precinct design experience with expert knowledge of the security environment in Thailand to ensure the design and security systems are tailored to mitigate credible assessed risks.
