ABOUT INTELLIGENT RISKS (IR)
STRATEGIC. OPERATIONAL. TACTICAL.
Intelligent Risks (IR) was established in early 2001 and is a leading international security, risk, due diligence and crisis management advisory firm. We support businesses, multinationals, governments and international agencies worldwide by delivering best practice solutions and outcomes which are adapted to meet the requirements, risks and capabilities of our clients.
IR was awarded the Australian OSPA, the Outstanding Security Provider Award, as the leading security consultancy of 2018 and again in 2019.
We differentiate ourselves from our competitors by delivering the full range of risk, security and emergency management planning, operational and assurance advice – from project conceptualisation through to detailed design, construction, assurance, commissioning, testing, exercising and operations.
Our specialist personnel have extensive skills and experience across the spectrum of security planning, risk assessment, operational management, investigations and crisis response. IR personnel have served at senior levels in government agencies spanning intelligence, law enforcement and the military, and at executive levels in the private sector.
IR’s global reach enables us to support our clients across the full spectrum of their operations worldwide. We have full-service practices in Sydney, Bangkok and Brisbane; and contracted associates in Amsterdam, Annapolis, Auckland, Beijing, Delhi, Glasgow, Ho Chi Minh City, Istanbul, Jakarta, Munich, Phnom Penh, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro and Yangon. Our network of strategically located associates enables us to respond promptly to client requirements wherever the need occurs internationally.
Dr George Peponis OAM, Chairman RLWC 2017, Testimonial for IR in relation to the services the company provided to the Rugby League World Cup 2017 (RLWC) in Australia, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand. In my then capacity as Chairman of the RLWC Board I was very much aware of the superb support IR provided our Organising Committee.
The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) has had an association with IR for nearly 20 years. The Australian Government has contracted their services for specialist security roles almost continuously since the formation of the company (in 2001) until now.
